Archway is a fast-improving location with good connectivity and lifestyle amenities and it is home to a Central Saint Martins campus. This five-floor 1920s warehouse near the Tube presented an excellent opportunity to create a unique and inspiring working environment.

Our refurbishment embraced the industrial heritage of the building while producing a best-in-class workspace. A large impact on the occupier experience came from converting the existing car park into a biodiverse courtyard. The 14,000 sq ft flexible area now features planting, seating, cycle racks, a greenhouse, and space for a food truck and outdoor table tennis. Among our many efforts to reduce embodied and operational carbon, we installed a photovoltaic system and efficient air-source heat pumps. We also saved over 1,150 tons of CO2 during the strip-out by recycling 94% of the waste.
